Become a Junior Librarian at the WSMR Post Library!

Does your child love to recommend books to friends and family? We are looking for enthusiastic young readers to participate in our Junior Librarian Displays! This program gives children the opportunity to take over a section of the library and share their passion for reading with the entire community.

How It Works

The Junior Librarian program allows children to curate their very own display space. Participants will:

  • Curate a Collection: Select their absolute favorite books and special personal items to put on showcase.

  • Get Creative: Design and organize a unique display space that tells a story of its own.

  • Inspire Others: Help other library patrons discover new "must-read" books by explaining why their picks are special.
